
During a recent survey conducted by the National Association of Realtors®, less than 2% of home buyers found their home while touring an open house, instead citing Realtors®, the Internet and yard signage as their preferred source of initial information. Although not surprising, the Internet continues to play host to the largest real estate audience and provides a universal platform through which Realtors®, buyers and sellers exchange information more quickly and more readily. As an advocate of new technology, we know how to target market to the largest buyer audience. It's called "Open 24/7". Through the use of two virtual tour technologies, multiple digital imaging and Realtor.com® showcase, our Seller's homes are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are viewed more often than our competitors, generally in the top 4%. Because when given a choice, most home buyers prefer to search by virtual tour and multiple pictures. Therefore, as a company, we do not conduct "Open Houses". At the request of our seller clients, however, we do provide signage, home feature sheets, guest register and advertising necessary to host their own open house. Although there are no universal standards for conducting an Open House, we provide our seller clients with useful information and tips on how to conduct a safe and productive open house. As an incentive for hosting their own open house, we provide our sellers the opportunity to SAVE MONEY through our variable residential commission rate with savings as high as 3%! |
